2014 China (Chenzhou) International Women’s Volleyball Tournament would be opened in Chenzhou city from July 3, 2014 in the volleyball hall of Chenzhou Sports Center. Li Ting- Deputy Mayor of Chenzhou City investigated the preparation work for this tournament on June 25, 2014.

Li Ting checked some facilities as volleyball hall, seats, and etc. on site, listened to the working reports on safety work addressed by some staffs of Chenzhou Public Security Bureau and handled out on-site coordination and arrangement of the preparation work as well. Li emphasized that the security work should be further perfected and the facilities should be prepared at the soonest time. Li visited some hotels for the athletes and staffs of the tournament later and asked relative principals to pay closer attention on the security work and ensure the tournament to be finished successfully.
